Dr. Albina has one Master’s Degree in School Psychology, One Masters in Social/ Personality Psychology and a Doctorate in Adult and Child Clinical Psychology. Her dissertation studied the effects of two types of Hypnosis. Dr. Albina has worked as a Clinical psychologist for 30 years. In private practice, she started working inpatient as an intern at Creedmoor Hospital with severely disturbed individuals, and continued for four more years at Kings County Hospital adult inpatient units with people deemed a threat to themselves or others. She ended as senior psychologist ranking third highest in New York City. She then worked for Cigna Insurance in New York City as lead clinician teaching other therapists effective treatment methods. Currently she has a full time private practice. She also teaches both nationally and internationally on addiction, depression, anxiety, meditation, pain and hypnosis. In conventional psychotherapy, the root cause of a problem is sought through lengthy and expensive analysis. Often this insight never changes anything in a person's life.
